I learned something new last week – during an inspection we learned that the home my clients will be purchasing needs a new sewer line. It’s never fun to call a listing agent and let them know that his/her clients will need to make an expensive repair. However, this time when I called the agent was not at all concerned because her clients own Sewer and Water Line Insurance through AAA. Most homeowners policies do not cover these types of repairs (only the damage their failure costs) so I was thrilled to hear about this option.
